Extending Brand Experiences Through Environmental Design
Brands aren't experienced solely through digital and print communications—they come to life in physical spaces as well. Across multiple projects for the University of Wisconsin–Superior and community partners, I designed large-scale environmental graphics that transformed everyday spaces into engaging brand experiences. From wayfinding and admissions displays to murals and event installations, each project was created to strengthen brand presence, foster connection, and create memorable interactions.
Central Flats Community Mural
I designed a custom mural for Central Flats in partnership with P&R Properties, celebrating the history of athletics at the University of Wisconsin–Superior and the surrounding community. The installation transformed a fitness space into a vibrant visual experience through archival photography, school colors, and community storytelling.
Grandma's Marathon Skywalk
I created an interactive environmental installation for the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center during Grandma's Marathon to increase awareness of UW–Superior. The installation encouraged engagement through playful graphics and movement, creating a memorable experience for runners, families, and visitors.
Find Your Superior Installation
I extended the "Find Your Superior" brand campaign into a large-scale environmental installation displayed at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center over two consecutive years. The evolving installation reinforced campaign messaging through coordinated stair, window, and ceiling graphics that welcomed prospective students and visitors.
Admissions Display
I designed an informational display outside the Admissions Office that combines campus wayfinding with institutional storytelling. Positioned in a high-traffic community building, the installation serves prospective students and visitors while extending the university's brand beyond the admissions office.
